Discover UUM 2016
I the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and Most Merciful. I this entry I would like to tell you about my beloved university, Universiti Utara Malaysia (Northern University of Malaysia). Year 2016 marks the prosperous year of Kedah, alongside with this university. The theme "Discover UUM 2016" is chosen for this purpose. The beginning phase of 2016 has made Universiti Utara Malaysia as the centre of attraction as this university gets more and more beautiful. The concept of "University in Green Forest" seems perfectly suited this university. The lush green forest of Sintok, The ostrich Farm, Deer Farm and the beautiful lake of Mas and Guthrie that can be found in here surely do described how close this university with the mother nature. The blooming Tacoma in this major campus also became the added value. I feel like I am in Korea instead of Malaysia. Here are some photos that surely won't be enough to describe the beauty of UUM.
The lush green of bamboo tree in area near the DTSO, we called it Pokok Buluh.

Mimpi..peringatan buat hamba yang bernama aku..
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful.
In this entry I want to talk about the miracle of dreams that had changed my life forever. That keep on reminding me of not to be out of the line when I'm about to do so. Well, I am just a typical human being! Back to the dreams. I know that those dreams aren't supposed to be told to others kata beberapa org Ustaz. But I decided to tell to my fellow readers here because I want to let you know that there are lessons that we can learn behind those dreams. Well, I write here with just one purpose , to remind us that Allah is the Only One who control us, the Only One that control our souls, in charge of everything. And HE always merciful and kind to all HIS believers; by giving the words of reminders, warning for us when we are far away from him so that, we realized our mistake and get back to HIM.. ASAP. By posting this, I don't have any other intentions. I am not the attention seeker okay. I don't want anything from you! Bukan nak menunjuk. Again... I just want to share my experiences in having those "reminder" dreams yg memang sedikit sebanyak mengubah diri aku untuk menjadi insan yg lebih baik. I am not Yusuff, the Prophet that gifted by Allah with the ability to translate the dreams. I am not like that. I am just a normal human being.Full of flaws. A sinner. Alkisahnya, years ago in my early 20, aku pernah bermimpi berada di suatu tempat like a room, have a white curtain or tabir. I was right at the back, behind the thin white curtain of the person who is prostrating himself to Allah and I looked around and I found a golden gate, the gate of Prophet Muhammad's tombs and Masha Allah. I woke up. Terkejut and tertanya-tanya apa maksud or mesej yg tersirat disebalik mimpi tu. And, I never tell anybody about it until one day I told my grandpa. And he said maybe its a reminder for me to be a good follower to our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Okay.
Then, in 2013 came the second dream. I dreamt of becoming a dead body or "jenazah" in the white shroud or "kain kafan" and there were three men dressed in white robe. One man at the right side of my head, one at right side of my waist and the other one at right side of my feet. The men were reciting Quranic verse particularly in Surah Al-Hasyr verse 20, translated "If We had caused this Qur'an to descend upon a mountain, thou (O Muhammad) verily hadst seen it humbled, rent asunder by the fear of Allah. Such similitudes coin We for mankind that haply they may reflect." And I woke up in fear as I am the one who have been in the white shroud..ready to be buried. I trembled. I cried. I tried to think what is the message behind of that dream and I then looked and examined every letters or "huruf" in that Surah. I really studied the meaning. And right after that, I found out that I had wrongly read one of the verse of the surah.I left one letter un-pronounce. And the dream was a reminder/warning or "teguran" for me to read that verse from the Holy al-Quran correctly.
On December 7, 2014, I dreamt that I was in no where, laid, in white shroud,in the total darkness and I couldn't hear anything and the only word I manage to utter before I woke up is 'Izrael', the Angel of Death. Again, I was in fear. I cried. I trembled and I realized that I've committed too many sins. Byk buat dosa. Terlalu ikutkan perasaan, abaikan suruhan Allah, dekatkan diri dengan benda2 mengarut. But I thanked ALLAH for giving me those dreams. From that, I can do check-and-balance on my life. From that also I can improve myself, cuba untuk menjadi manusia yg kuat imannya untuk menepis segala godaan Syaitan yg sesat lagi menyesatkan. And to me, through the dreams we can learn something. Mimpi yg ala2 scary and boleh timbulkan kesedaran macam tu la. Penah jugak mimpi suweet2 tapi aku anggap tu mainan tidur or khayalan minda semata. So kesimpulannya, sebelum tidur amalkan adab tidur baginda Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Tapi tu la...kena tengok keadaan and jangan jumpa atau percayakan penilik or peramal mimpi. Don't ever do that!
Begitulah kisahnya..my journey to the dreamland. The scary one. The beautiful one. The tak tahu nak cakap la..Yet the dreams really taught me.

ME~DIPLOMAT TO BE..
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..
I don't know whether my dream would become a reality or not. But I do have a dream to be a diplomat since I was in form 5. Maybe because I got some relatives that worked with the Government and in Foreign Ministry and one of them is a Special Official working at Malaysian Embassy in United Kingdom, I feel more inspired and determined to pursue my ambition and prepared myself with as much knowledge and wisdom as I can. That's why I want to pursue my Master in Nottingham University (in International Relations). And, by looking at the critical and challenging world that we are living today, I feel that I have to do something. To give and to contribute something to the world for the sake of peace and harmony. If I were a world leader I would work harder to ensure peace and stability of this world. I would do whatever it takes as long as we can live in peace. More safer world than today.
As an International Affairs Management student, I feel that we can reached the world's peace and stability if we are not kind-of-power-greed person. But in reality, peoples would struggle for power..hegemonic power, super power, veto power and so on. I TOTALLY REJECT THE VETO POWER. To me, all nations or states are equal. There should be no world's government to control this world like today. Like say, to ensure the peace, stability and safety to our nations; we want to establish a world government, it is okay. As long as the government consist with a very effective and unbiased ruler and policies..

Do You Know Who is Khawlah Al-Azwar??
In the name of Allah, the most gracious and most merciful...Today's entry is about one of the Great Women in Islam. Her name is Khawlah al-Azwar. She is one of my hero actually. I admire her a lot and I wish I could be like her. Here is the details about this great lady.
Khawlah Bint Al-Azwar
Khawlah was the daughter of one of the chiefs of Bani Asad tribe, and her family embraced Islam in its early days. Her father's name is either Malik or Tariq Bin Aws. Al-Azwar was his nickname. Her brother, Dirar, was the knight and poet of his tribe, and was well known for his wisdom. His love for his sister and confidence in her capabilities were legendary. In fact, the brother and sister were so attached to each other that she was his companion wherever he went. He trained her on all arts of swordsmanship and she became also a perfect knight. Besides that, Khawlah mastered the noble art of poetry. She was a brunette, tall, slim and of great beauty.
Her name remained greatly unknown, until the battle of Ajnadin, not far from Jerusalem, where Drear lost his spear, fell from his horse, and was taken prisoner. She donned a male knight's attire, took her arms and rode her mare through the Roman ranks, using her sword skillfully against whoever tried to stop her. The Muslim soldiers, and their leader Khalid, watched her with great admiration, presuming that she was a man.
The Arab Historian, Al Waqidi, narrates in his book "The conquering of Al Sham (Greater Syria)"
"In a battle that took place in Bayt Lahyah near Ajnadin, Khalid watched a knight, in black attire, with a large green shawl wrapped around his waist and covering his chest. That knight broke through the Roman ranks as an arrow. Wondering about the identity of the unknown Knight Khalid and the others followed him and joined battle,
Rafe' Bin Umayrah Al-Ta'if was one of the fighters. He described how that knight scattered the enemy ranks, disappearing in their midst, to reappear after a while with blood dripping from his spear. He swerved again and repeated the deed fearlessly, several times. All the Moslem army was worried about him and praying for his safety. Rafe' and others thought that he was Khalid, who won great fame for his bravery and genius military plans. But suddenly Khalid appeared with a number of knights. Rafe' asked the leader:
"Who is that knight? By God, he has no regard for his safety!"
Khalid answered that he didn't know the man, though he greatly admired his courage. They were fascinated as they watched the knight appear with a number of Roman knights chasing him. Then he would turn around and kill the nearest before resuming his attacks.
The Romans eventually lost the battle and fled, leaving many dead and wounded in the battlefield. Khalid looked for the knight till he found him. By then he was covered in blood. He praised his bravery and asked him to remove his veil. But the knight did not answer, and tried to break away. The soldiers wouldn't let him do that. And everyone asked him to reveal his identity.
When the knight found that there was no way to avoid that, he replied in a feminine voice:
"My prince, I did not answer because I am shy. You are a great leader, and I am only a woman whose heart is burning."
"Who are you?" Khalid insisted.
"I am Khawlah Bint Al-Azwar. I was with the women accompanying the army, and when I learnt that the enemy captured my brother, which lead me to do what I had to do."
Khalid ordered his army to chase the fleeing Roman Army, with Khawlah leading the attack, looking in all directions for her brother, but in vain. By noontime, the victory was decisive. Most of the Roman soldiers were killed.
Knowing that the prisoners had to be somewhere, Khalid sent Khawlah with a number of knights to find them. After a hot chase, they managed to catch up with a Roman detachment that was taking the prisoners to their headquarters. Another fight took place, the Roman guards were all killed and the prisoners saved.
In another battle in Ajnadin, Khawlah's spear broke, and her mare was killed, and she found herself a prisoner. But she was astonished to find that the Romans attacked the women camp and captured several of them. Their leader gave the prisoners to his commanders, and order Khawlah to be moved into his tent. She was furious, and decided that to die is more honorable than living in disgrace. She stood among the other women, and called them to fight for their freedom and honour or die. The others were enthusiastic to her plan. They took the tents' poles and pegs and attacked the Roman guards, keeping a formation of a tight circle, as she had instructed them.
Khawlah led the attack, killed the first guard with her pole, with the other women following her. According to Al Waqidi, they managed to kill 30 Roman knights, while Khawlah was encouraging them with her verses, which in fact caused the enemy's blood to boil.
The Roman Leader was infuriated by what happened, and led a detachment of his knights against the women, though he tried first to tempt them with many promises. He told Khawlah that he planned to marry her and make her the first lady of Damascus. But she answered him calmly and with great contempt:
"I wouldn't even accept you to be the shepherd of my camels! How do you expect me to degrade myself and live with you? I swear that I'll be the one to cut off your head for your insolence."
In the ensuing battle, the ladies proved their mettle, keeping their grounds for some time, encouraging each other and driving off the attackers with their long poles. Suddenly, Khalid and the army reached the battlefield. In the ensuing fight, over 3000 Romans were killed. The women who took part in the fighting were proud to say that Khawlah killed five knights, including the leader that insulted her.
In another battle, the Muslims were overwhelmed by a much bigger Roman army. Many soldiers fled away, but not for long. Khawlah and the other women met the fleeing soldiers, questioning their claims of bravery and forced them to return to the battle. The men were stunned when they saw Khawlah drawing her sword and leading a counter-attack. They turned their horses and joined the battle, which was eventually won.
One of the knights present that day said:
"Our women were much harsher with us than the Romans. We felt that going back to fight and die was much easier than facing the fury of our women later on".
Khawlah became a legend during her life and remains a legend till this day. She set an example to men and women alike that one should fight for what he or she believes in, and never accept defeat.

Wasiat Buat Sang Puteri...
Kerana menjaga harta bererti menghargainya dgn baik.

SUPERNATURAL TV SERIES...AND OUR FAITH..
SUPERNATURAL is one of the American series that I super super loved. I had watched the series since it first aired on Malaysian television channel (TV3) in 2007. And now, its in season 12 already. And, at this moment I still like to replay the series. I even watch SUPERNATURAL in the midst of examination week. Oh, what is happening to me? I simply couldn't let myself sleeping peacefully before watching the series for the zillion of times. It couldn't change what I believe, which is ISLAM. I just enjoy watching it. It makes my believe to ALLAH more stronger, firmer. I can differentiate and I did made an evaluation between the religion of truth( which is ISLAM) and Christian. Plus, I love reading about the comparisons of Christian and Islam and I reads a lots on other religions as well. Aku suka baca buku-buku pasal agama-agama yg wujud kat dunia ni. Antara buku yg aku pernah baca ialah JESUS: THE PROPHET OF ISLAM, THE JESUS YOU CAN'T IGNORE, THE ORIGIN OF MAN, SCIENCE;AL QURAN AND BIBLE, ISLAM: THE RELIGION OF TRUTH dan banyak lagi. Bible pun aku pernah baca. ISLAM jugak yg paling agung.. So, bila orang pandang serong kt aku bila aku cakap aku minat cerita SUPERNATURAL tu aku cakap je la "aku boleh nilai yg mana betul yg mana palsu, dan aku masih waras lagi nk percaya yg mana satu betul dan yg mana sesat"...
Apa pon, SUPERNATURAL tetap aku minat. Castiel tu handsome kot..

AN AWARD TO A BOOKWORM...
Am I really a bookworm? I think yes. I enjoy reading. I am happy when I have something to read. Early in this semester I got a call from the UUM's library Corporate Department telling me that I will be awarded as the Highest Book Borrower at the library and the library would like to give something to me as the appreciation. I was very surprise. Two days later, during the launch of Pesta Buku Utara the appreciation awards is given to me and I was informed that in 2 weeks I will get RM300 as a bonus. Thanks to ALLAH, THE MOST GRACIOUS AND MOST MERCIFUL for giving me the gift.
POSITION AND POWER
This is the most challenging semester for me as I have a loads of responsibilities and people trust. I am quite busy, and sometimes I don't even have time to tidy up my room and enjoy my reading activity. I have to catch up with the class syllabus, attend meetings, students gathering and so on. I participate in students societies and hostel activities a lot. I did that because I want to enhance my soft skill and to gain as much experience as I can. So I have what people called the added-value. I also became the executive committee, means that I hold very exclusive position in that particular body or organization. This is not about power, like I said before. Here are the list of and society that I joined.
1) Political Science Society as Executive Committee(EXCO) of Multimedia and Information.
2) International Affairs Society as High Committee Member in treasury department
3) Proton Residential Hall as the Villa Manager for building E
such huge responsibilities that I have. May Allah ease everything...

ME and UUM's LIBRARY
One of my favourite place in UUM or Northern University of Malaysia is the library, Sultanah Bahiyah Library. I often go to library when I got a plenty of time and I have nothing to do. I usually borrow as much books as I can. Then, I would spend my free time at the library reading, browsing internet and doing all the assignments. My favourite spot would be at the corner of the novels section. I love that place.
I would say that the library is the place I seek tranquility when I'm feeling bad and stressed with the things like assignments, societies and etc.. I never thought that I could get the awards from the library as I read and borrow the books because I love to, not because I were told to do so.. I won the First Place for Highest Book Borrower Awards for year 2013 and 2014 (two consecutive years) ..They also gave me quite huge amount of money as the prize..Just my luck..Thank you Allah..Thank You Perpustakkan Sultanah Bahiyah UUM.. I love you...

THE DARK SIDE OF MINE
I have something to share with you. There's a place that I know. It's not pretty there and no one have ever gone except me; and if I show it to you now will it make you run away? Or will you stay with me..even if it hurts and even if I try to push you out will you return? That is the dark side of mine..I believe that everybody's got a dark side, so do I. Well, nobody's a picture perfect but we're worth it. We deserve a life, a happy one. When talking about the dark side of my life, I felt like crying. I hate my dark side. I tried to escape from it, till now. It's kind of hunting me. you know...Sometimes I seems to be in a war. A war within myself. A war between my lust and my sense, the rightful one. Sometimes I got tired in that battlefield. I once have been lost in my dark world, but alhamdulillah, I still have chances. HE had given me chances for me to get out of the dark. But, as a normal human being and as the creature that the Satan promised to lure and to be dragged to the hellfire, I sometimes lost the fight. And, when I realized it, it makes me feel like I don't deserved to be forgiven. I regret and I hate that. I am ashamed of myself. I too ashamed to ask for HIS forgiveness. But, my dark and empty soul need to be purified. I need to be at ease, my soul's thirst of happiness, the real one which is MAWADDAH. the absolute calm. And once I succeed the battle, it satisfied my soul.
So, moral of the story, in order to be success in the fight..you have to remember HIM always, prioritize HIM in every aspects of you and IN SHA ALLAH, the success is yours. Leaving HIM only makes you and your soul AIMLESS and USELESS. Soon, it will become the lost soul.
As a message to you and myself, just remember this.. HASBI RABBI JALLALLAH, MA FI QALBI GHAIRULLAH..PUT HIM FIRST BEFORE OTHERS..
Alhamdulillah, thank you ALLAH for giving me all the chances in this fragile world.

MY ULTIMATE DREAM, NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY....
I am a girl with a big ambition. Since I was a small kid, I always want to be somebody, somebody with pride and respectable. I always think big. I want to do everything that I think I can be proud of. I have a lots of ambitions and dreams. I want to be recognized as a famous fashion designer, a language expert, a Professor at prominent university, and many more. But, when I grew older I realized how silly I was. I was wrong. I only want to be a successful person, be in this world or in hereafter. I don't need to run after a Dr. or whatever title for myself. I don't need to be "crowned" for my excellence. What I need is just my-own-self appreciation and I am really happy of what I do or did.
Right now, I have set up my own goal. I want to pursue my Master study at Nottingham University,United Kingdom in International Relations and Politics. I really love the university. I would die with happiness if I get the opportunity to be the alumni of that prestigious university. I felt motivated to excel in my study, as my Diplomacy lecturer Dr Kazi Fahmida Farzana told us about her experience of having a presentation on her Refugee Research at Oxford University, the most prestigious and notorious university in the world. I wanted to be like her, so that I can contribute something to others. I wanted to improve the world order.I mean, the relations among the states in this world. I
I don't care what others might think about my big dreamS. I made a promised to myself, whatever happen I wouldn't change my plan on going to that university. IN SHA ALLAH. I always pray to ALLAH, may my dreams would become reality.. I always trust in ALLAH.. HE know best.

PRAY FOR MH370 & KUN FAYAKUN...
Assalamualaikum and hello everyone...
I believe that you have heard about the missing of Malaysian plane MH370 since 8th March 2014. Me as Malaysian was shocked, as its second time for us to have that kind of tragedy after more that 20 years. The plane is still missing and it was told that the plane is no where to be found, yet....But, is sha Allah...it will be discovered soon. Kun fayakun...Many of us have came up with 1001 speculations regarding the missing plane. Some of us said that it is the Malaysian government's conspiracy to cover the case of Anwar's imprisonment..what a stupid theory. Malaysian government won't do that..I totally believe that..why we would sacrifice the hundreds of innocent and precious life for the jerk and traitor like Anwar???
Others came up with thoughts that the plane has been hijacked as there are 2 passengers with stolen ID or passports..not to forget the theory that they might disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle and it is hard for them to survive...
Who knows what exactly happen to them?? Who knows they would survive??? We should pray to Allah....ask HIM to give us guidance. Pray for their safety..pray for them to come back to us..to come back to their loved ones...in whatever condition....YA ALLAH, PLEASE LET THEM TO BE FOUND.....
Mungkin ini masanya utk Allah menguji Malaysia, kerana kita terlalu alpa...kufur dgn segala nikmatnya..negara yg aman dan kerajaan yang sgt bagus, tp masih ada lg org yg x puas hati....
To those who really like to jump into stupid and nonsense speculations, STOP IT...JUZ PRAY FOR THEM TO RETURN TO US....I know that some of the Malaysian had put the blames on the PILOT, they blamed MAS for letting the plane to fly, they also blamed the GOVERNMENT...DOES THEY KNOW THAT WHEN ALLAH SAID "KUN FAYAKUN...THEN IT WILL HAPPEN....bear that in mind...

The Journey to Eternal Love – to reach the destination of love
This is my life experience, before I know what ISLAM really is. I am not writing this to show that I am a good person, but I want to give a life lesson to you all so that, you wouldn’t make the same mistake like I did. Here I want to share the story of my life. My silly life.
I wasn’t like who I am today. My life before was a messy and full of flaws. I was raised by a modest economic and religious background. I’m not the daughter of an ustaz or ustazah. My parents just like ordinary Muslim. They had done their best to “cultivate” and to raise my siblings and I in a way of Islam. I still remember, when I was a small girl till I reached my teenage life, my mother would tell us (my siblings and I) the stories’ of prophets in Islam before we get to sleep or in a rainy day. She also taught us how to pray, read to us on the life of our beloved Prophet, Muhammad S.A.W and lots more stories about ISLAM. Although, my parents and my religious teachers taught me well, I wasn’t really a devoted Muslim at all. I know that Solah is the main pillar of Islam, but I took it easy. I did goods things’ and prevent myself from doing bad things just because I was afraid of my parents, but not afraid of Allah. So silly I was.
Then, my teen age seems to make me turn into a worst and hectic person. I began to rebel and I even tried to challenge my parents with my antics and my stupid ignorance. When things turn upside down I was like asking my parents why I was born into this world and why had God created me? I was really a bad and terrible daughter to them. Thank to Allah, I didn’t mingle with the bad hat. I only have a few friends and they’re kind of good person. If not, I don’t know what would happen to me. Plus, I’m not living in a big city so I kind of free from doing bad things such as clubbing, drinking and etc. But, to tell you the truth, my life was disaster at that time, but still I have performed well at school. Yet, I took what Allah had given to me for granted.
As I turned at the ripe age of 17, I slowly realized how messy and terrible I was. I asked my mom and my dad forgiveness . And when I have to leave them (to pursue my diploma at UniSZA, Trengganu) I realized how important they are to me. I totally agree with the saying “we tend to appreciate something when we lost it”.. Then, I made a promise to myself; I will wash away the pain that I gave to them and I’ll make them proud of me. And it turns out okay. I was given a big test by Allah in my final years at the university when I got sick and diagnosed with iron-deficiency anaemia and I easily got sick. I remembered that night, when I suddenly having a terrible headache and I totally lost my consciousness. I was sent to hospital and when I had gained my consciousness I realized that I was in hospital and my hijab was gone. At 2 in the morning I asked to go out from the hospital, that place make me sick and I miss my mom so much as I remember that when I got sick, she would always be at my side. I sent a text to my dad. And tomorrow morning my mom called. She said that she can sense and feel that something bad had happen to me and she also told me, that night she couldn’t sleep at all as she kept on thinking about me. Subhanallah, a mother’s instinct. I had to run a special blood test, plus there’s a blood clots in my brain that had caused me terrible migraine and I was told that I had to remove the blood that clotted in my brain or else I would get brain tumour. At that time, I thought that I’m going to die soon. I felt like I don’t want to do anything aside from being with my family to spend my remained time with them. Thanks to Allah, I survived.
I again, felt devastated when I didn’t get any offer to continue my study. I felt down, and depressed as my parents keep on comparing me with my sister, who got an offer letter. I then, said that it’s better for me to die rather than being a useless person like this. I began to lose hope. I lost hope in everyone, everything. I just live, aimlessly, unmotivated and I was like a body without a soul. I even had a big fight with my mother. I again had hurt her feeling as I tried to voice out my dissatisfaction (I thought that she care more about my sister and being unfair to me). I started to ignored others and living with a feeling of anger and disappointments’. Till one day, My mother and my grandmother said something to me that make me realize how lucky I am. “ Ask Allah, don’t ever lose hope in Allah, He never test his servants with the burden that HIS servants’ can’t cope with. Do you think that you are poor? There aro so many person that isn’t lucky as you are. Allah knows better. ALLAH, had provide something special for you, you just have to wait” that what they have said. I began to realize how ungrateful I am to Allah, who had given so many things to me. ALLAH, HE had given lots of chances to me. During the month of Ramadhan, I asked HIS forgiveness and I ask for HIS helps. Only Allah could help me. I’ll redha with what would happen in my life in future time. Alhamdulillah, after months of hoping and I turn out to accept my fate sincerely; my dad gave me a letter. A letter from a university (here I am now, UUM). I shed my tears of happiness and syukur to Allah. Then, a lots more surprises and nikmat from Allah I got. My best friend while diploma is my roommate.
Still at my twenties, my life needs to be improved. I felt like I had lost or had missed something in my life. My heart isn’t at peace at all. I look around others life. My roommate, for example she had gone through a hard life and experiencing so much test and challenges and she still have a total believe in Allah. She taught me how beautiful and sweet feeling of devotion to Allah. By looking at how she behave, how she accept her tests in life, how she lead her life to become a good Muslimah; I realized something. I even compared myself with her. I was far from good Muslimah. I cover my aurah, I wear my hijab, I pray 5 times a day, but still I feel like I’m not good at all. I begin to question myself? I do pray, but do I really pray because I love Allah, or just want to show that I follow what Allah asked to? I cover my aurah, because I want to or because I have to? I do a good thing because I want to or to show that I am a good one? My roommate does make me realize how flawed I am. I need to find the missing puzzle in me. I think I have enough knowledge of ISLAM. I know the history of ISLAM. I read lots of religious books. I read on Jesus: the prophet of Islam, The Origin of Man, Life after death, Christian and Islam, Bible and al Quran, and I even read about the Bible but , I don’t know, what is wrong with me, but I feel like I’m not a good Muslimah at all. I have to continue my searching. I have to do and find something. I want to be as calm as my roommate. I want to be as good as her.
One day, I listen to a song. Alhamdulillah, by Maher Zain. The song really fits me. I am the person in that song. I took everything for granted. I have to change, I told myself. And then I listen to other nasheed entitled “Taubat seorang hamba”. I felt something. I shivered. I cried, I asked my heart do I really want to change my way of life. Do I really, really want to become a true Muslimah, devoted my whole life to ALLAH without asking HIS rewards? I am speechless. I don’t know exactly what I want. I envy Siti Khadijah (Khadeeja-Muhammad’s wife), I envy Rabiatul Adawiyah, I’m jealous with Sumayyah, and I envy them cause I feel that I couldn’t be one of them although I really want that. I’m not strong enough to face the challenges like they were. But deep in my heart, I want to be like them. I always pray to Allah that one day I could win HIS eternal love and I made a promise to myself that I’ll improve myself from day to day. I will obey HIM voluntarily. Still, I feel like I’m full of flaws. I am a sinner. I am dirty, my heart is dirty. I need to purify my heart. I read lots of religious books, al-Quran to make me calm, my heart calm. It works. The more I read the book of revelations (al-Quran) the more my heart is at ease. Subhanallah..
Months ago, I really awakened with an album. Hafiz Hamidun’s Zikir Terapi Diri. I cried and my heart feels at ease and peace when I played those songs. I feel like I am totally not more than a small creature to ALLAH. I am nothing without HIM. I exist because ALLAH wants to. I really realize the purposes of my life. Allah had created me to make the peoples around me happy, to spread HIS peaceful messages which are ISLAM and Al Quran, and most of all to unstoppable-ly worshipped HIM. I started to discover and thinks more about ISLAM. I listen to lots more spiritual song, and I found a song that inspire me, make me strong to face the challenges and obstacle in my journey to become a truly Muslimah and in my journey to win ALLAH’s pure and eternal love, which is DESTINASI CINTA sung by a group named Mestica. I t strengthen my will. And I also found a book entitled “MEMBURU DARJAT WANITA SOLEHAH” and the book had guide me in order to become a truly Muslimah, aside from the book of truth al-Quran and Rasulullah’s sunnahs and teaching.
Recently, I watch a BBC documentary on The life of Prophet Muhammad, and the documentary really had taught me and it means a lot to me in shaping who I am today. I am thankful that I was born to be a Muslim, not Christian, not Buddhist. I am thankful that I have Muslims parents, and I really thankful that ISLAM had reached me. Back on the time when Rasulullah S.AW first wahyu (or message from ALLAH to spread the religion of truth ISLAM), Rasulullah had to face so many obstacles and challenges in order to spread the religion of Islam. His life is at stake. He even threatened to death. But Rasulullah S.A.W never stops spreading the new religion. He patiently accepted whatever thing that his enemies, the Musyrikin Quraisy did to him. Rasulullah S.AW and his follower at that time having lots of difficulties to spread ISLAM and they couldn’t even built a mosque until they did their pilgrimage to Medina.
Today, I am lucky. We are lucky, because we can easily build mosque, we can easily buy the al Quran from the bookstore, we can easily read about ISLAM in any means, we can easily get the religious book and we are easily to spread the ISLAM. BUT, the question is HOW QUALITY OUR ISLAM ARE? Do we really treasure the al-Quran? Do we really appreciate the Pilgrimage of Rasulullah and HIS companion? Do we, really follow HIS teaching? Do we really ready to die as what Rasulullah did in order to protect ISLAM? Do we really ready to syahid in order to fight the enemy of ISLAM? Do we????
As for me, In sha Allah..I will. And I still need to prepare myself. I still need to learn lots more thing to strengthen my relation with ALLAH. I hope that, my new me, can contribute something to this beloved religion which is ISLAM. I hope that ALLAH will grant me patient and spirit of ISTIQAMAH. In sha allah, I’ll win in my jihad. Jihad to conquer my desires (nafsu) . I hope that ALLAH will accept my good deeds and guide me as long as my heart is beating and finally I could get HIS ETERNAL LOVE…Amin.
p/s: I hope that, after you had read this entry, you’ll love ISLAM more and I really hope that my experiences can prevent you from doing the same mistakes that I did. I once lived in the life of ignorance (jahiliyah) and I wish that you wouldn’t have a life like mine. And my dear readers, remember and put your believe in ALLAH’s words, In sha Allah, you’ll find your happiness. There is not too late for us to grab HIS ETERNAL LOVE as HE is the most gracious and most Forgiven.
WARKAH BUAT HAWA..
Andai engkau seorang ibu didiklah anak-anakmu hingga dia tak gentar memperjuangkan Addin Allah.
Hawa, andai engkau belum berkahwin jangan kau risau jodohmu.
where's the LOVE???
Now, I do realize that I've never been in love..truly in love with a man , I mean. If you love someone you tend to give everything without hoping that he/she will loved you back.. But I didn't feel that..Months ago, a guy had confessed his love for me and like I said before I kept on wondering if it's love or just a mere feeling of admire someone and now, I had found the answer. My heart do feel right and okay about that, but my soul doesn't feel right. I could brace myself to say that I miss him, I couldn't say that I love him and most of all things started to become puzzling and I had to say that I do care for him. My heart seems to felt sorry for him, but I couldn't brace myself to admit to him that I accepted his feeling because I care for him and I don't want to disappoint him..not because I really love and fell for him...Throughout this time, I keep on praying that I could tell him that. At first maybe I'm a little bit happy cause somebody had confessed that he loved me, but now it seems so wrong especially I knew that some persons weren't happy with us..HIS family, my family..Plus, like I said before on my previous entry, I didn't put too much hope at this matter as I'll accept what ever qada&qadr that had been written by ALLAH for me.
Recently I found out that he started seeing someone else and I wasn't sad or jealous at all. In fact, I felt relieve and I'm hoping that he would love that girl and they would end up their relationship with a marriage. I also hope that the girl would love him as much as he loved her. You must be surprise right??? I don't feel hurt at all..just like I was, live heartily, enjoy my campus life at UUM...struggle with assignments and exams...At the same time I'm praying that ALLAH would send a man with knowledge and virtue to me, to complete my life and to put my heart at calm..I don't care if I had to marry a total stranger as long as my parents give their blessing to us..coz I believe that it's better to love your partner after "nikah" and I also believe that Allah had chose a right person for me. A man that will accept me for who I am..( I'M JUST A PLAIN GIRL - A PLAIN JANE ) I'll just keep on waiting patiently for that man..as in JOJO's song ~ Never been in love, cause a girl like me...Never had someone to care for, Never thought there could be someone special for me...Cause a girl like me waited patiently for someone, someone to care for me...And there will never be...
Let say, if one day, a man said that he loves me..I'll just ask him to meet my parents, ask their blessing and then we should proceed to the next step...
Okayy...so that's all for today..xoxo

Socrates berkata : “Itulah CINTA”.
Plato kemudiannya menanyakan apakah erti perkahwinan pula. Berkata Socrates: “Sama seperti ranting tadi.
Socrates lalu berkata : “ Itulah makna PERKAHWINAN…

La Tahzan..my fellow sisters and brothers at Plaestine..
Reading and hearing about the cruelty did by the Israelis to the Palestinians had caused me pain at heart. I felt like they are hurting me also. At the same time, I was like..angry, disappointed, and it seems like I want to go there and fight the Israelis. They don't have the right to take the holy land, cause the land belong to the Palestinians. And the world just watch, no action no justice..as if the world had been blind by the cruel actions zionist. As if the world had lost their sight and lost their power to stop that..OIC seems to be powerless. Muslims all over the world seems so powerless. We just watch them, hear their with-pain-voice but we don't do anything to help them....Come on my fellow Muslims brothers and sisters! Lets do something to help them..lets ease their pain..
If I were given an opportunity, I want to be with all of you, fighting for our beloved Islam and free our holy land from the Zionist. but right now, I couldn't help much apart from giving "doa" to all of you. Be patience..I believe that Allah had prepared something special for all of you, who had redha with his test, the biggest test ever. If I were you I wouldn't be that strong. In sha allah, one day the Zionist will pay the price for all your suffers. I want justice, coz I believe that the world now is not fair at all. Not fair enough..the international organizations like OIC, UN and many more are function-less..I believe that some day You'll live in peace one day coz you deserve that. In Sha Allah..
Dear Palestinians, I will always pray for all of you.. I always pray that you always be patient, and brave enough to fight the zionist. The Israelis some day will stop causing you pain. Yes, they will..with Allah's help..

UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA
Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), which was officially established on 16 February 1984, is the sixth Malaysian public university. It is the only university that was set up to specialise solely in management education from the very beginning of its establishment.
The planning of the construction of this sixth university began in August 1983 when the Ministry of Education Malaysia began to give form, in earnest, to the idea of setting up this university. On 19th October 1983, the Cabinet gave its official approval for this project in Kedah. At that time, the project was called “The Sixth University Project”. Several months later, the temporary office of the sixth university, officially named Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), was officially opened on 15th February 1984 in Jitra.
Four months after its official opening, the UUM office was relocated to its provisional campus – the Darul Aman Campus – in Jitra, in June 1984, when the first phase of the project had been completed. The relocation was carried out so as to be able to usher in the very first batch of students for the academic year which commenced in early June 1984. The Darul Aman Campus was on a 62-acre tract of land in Bandar Darulaman. It was 18 kms north of Alor Setar and 4.8 kms from Jitra.
In the meanwhile, the planning of a permanent campus for the university had already begun. This permanent campus was to be built on an area of 1,061 hectares in Sintok (in the district of Kubang Pasu), situated about 48 kms north of Alor Setar and 10 kms east of Changlun, a small town along the North-South Highway, near the Malaysia-Thai border.
The permanent UUM campus, referred to as the Sintok Campus, commenced operations on 15 September 1990. Situated in a former tin mining area, it is ensconced in a valley of lush tropical forests, embraced by blue hills, and watered by two rivers that flow along the middle of the campus. The rivers, Sungai Sintok and Sungai Badak, complete the scenic beauty of the natural environment, affording a myriad vistas of verdant splendour.
The MYR580 million Sintok Campus was officially opened on 17 February 2004 by the Royal Chancellor, His Royal Highness Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah. The main buildings of the campus are the Sultanah Bahiyah Library, the Chancellery, the Sultan Badlishah Mosque, the Mu’adzam Shah Hall, the Tan Sri Othman Hall, the Sports Complex, the Varsity Mall, the Budi Siswa building, the Convention Complex, and the buildings that house the various departments of the Academic Colleges.
As a campus situated far from the madding crowd, UUM has ensured that its students do not want for adequate accommodation. At present, UUM has 15 Student Residential Halls (SRH), which, all together, house 20,000 students. The SRHs are named after Malaysian companies, institutions, and organisations of repute, namely MAS, TENAGA NASIONAL, TRADEWINDS, PETRONAS, EON, MISC, SIME DARBY, BSN, TM, PROTON, MAYBANK, YAYASAN ALBUKHARY, BANK MUAMALAT, BANK RAKYAT, and SME BANK.
Apart from these, UUM also has comfortable accommodation available for visitors at the University Inn and the EDC-UUM Hotel. Mindful of the welfare and need for accommodation among its personnel, the University has built about 600 housing units of various types for a sizeable portion of its workforce.
UUM has evolved into an open campus where outsiders and tourists are allowed the freedom to visit and utilise the various amenities within it. An area encompassing 107 hectares of forest has been developed into various facilities both to attract tourists to the northern region and to satisfy the recreational needs of the members of the campus community. Among these facilities are a picnic area, a nine-hole golf course, a go-kart circuit, a shooting and archery range, an equestrian site, and many others that are fast gaining popularity among tourists and the members of the campus community alike.
In January 2008, a restructuring of the university academic system was undertaken with the express purpose of preparing a strong structure that would enable the increase in the number of postgraduate students and the hoisting of the UUM flag in the international academic arena. The university sees the need to be global in practice and content since the knowledge it generates and purveys transcends and extends far beyond the borders of Malaysia. In this restructuring exercise, 13 faculties were merged and streamed into 3 main Academic Colleges, namely UUM COB (UUM College of Business), UUM CAS (UUM College of Arts and Sciences), and UUM COLGIS (UUM College of Law, Government and International Studies).
This step is in line with the imperative articulated in the statements of both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Higher Education that underscored the need to increase the number of postgraduate students in the country to 100,000 by 2010. This main strategy is embedded in The National Higher Education Strategic Plan 2007-2010.
To emblazon the name of UUM in the annals of academic excellence as an Eminent Management University and as a Research University in the Social Sciences, a UUM Transformation Plan was launched by the Vice-Chancellor of UUM, Professor Dato’ Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak, in conjunction with his 2011 New Year’s Message on 1st January 2011 at the Mua’adzam Shah Hall.
The UUM Transformation Plan, which is essentially a roadmap for the future pursuits and endeavours of UUM, is divided into two phases. Phase One, which is from 2011 till 2015, is focused on unequivocally placing UUM on the local academic map in a systematic and planned manner. During this period, greater emphasis will be given to ensuring the successful achievement of the objectives of the First Phase while, at the same time, being mindful of the imperatives of the Second Phase of the Transformation Plan, which will be from 2016 till 2020.
